Apollo’s Hegemony Echinacea is a preparation containing the powdered root of Echinacea purpurea. Thanks to its immunomodulatory properties, the product aims to support the functioning of the immune system.

Purple Echinacea is a plant species that has an established position in traditional medicine. The immunostimulatory properties of echinacea have been used for years to strengthen the immune system and fight the symptoms of mild infections (primarily the upper respiratory tract).

Echinacea active ingredients (especially polysaccharides and isobutyl amides) stimulate both non-specific and specific immunity. They show a complex effect on immune mechanisms. Echinacea's immunomodulatory activity is associated with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. Echinacea active ingredients may reduce the formation of inflammatory mediators and increase the activity of certain anti-inflammatory cytokines.

The result is an increased mobilization of the body to fight pathogenic agents, which increases the chance of avoiding infection (preventive action), as well as enables its milder and shorter course.

To sum up, Apollo’s Hegemony Echinacea is a preparation of natural origin, which is recommended especially in the period of increased morbidity, as a prophylaxis and as an effective complement to the therapy of cold.
